Our project in Piatã, Abaira and Jussiape municipalities.
Our project in Piatã, Abaira and Jussiape municipalities encompasses 430 km and 24 contiguous exploration tenements. The tenements contain north/south striking iron formations that extend over 60km. The Fazenda Moco mine extends over just a 0.8 km segment of the northern part of the Abaira project and contains 36.8Mt of Resource. The Resource contains a combination of enriched hematite breccia, itabirite and compact massive hematite. The remaining 60 km strike length of the Abaira contains repetitions of the same lithologies.
Drilling has commenced on extensions and satellites to the Fazenda Moco mine. During the remainder of 2020 and 2021, Brazil Iron plan to complete diamond and reverse circulation drilling comprising a total of 50km. Throughout the remainder of 2020 and 2021, Brazil Iron is planning to drill reverse circulation and diamond drill holes totaling 50km. This programme will significantly increase the Resource inventory, adding substantially to share holder value and mineable inventory.

Metallurgical Test Work
A metallurgical test work programme has been undertaken based upon samples of our itabirite deposits from the northern, central and southern parts of the project. The samples were subjected to quantitative mineralogical characterisation, pre-concentration using magnetic separation and conventional floatation.
The mineralogical characterisation work demonstrated that the iron ore is consistent along the strike length of the property. The material responded very well to pre-concentration and flotation, resulting in a high grade, low contaminant pellet feed concentrate.
The pellet feed concentrate product has the following specification:
Pellet Feed:
Fe: 68%
SiO2: 1.6%
Al2O3: 0.4%
P: <0.004%
S: 0.01%
K2O: 0.01%
