The Board and Management have extensive experience in the exploration, development, financing and mining of Iron Ore deposits around the world. The team is well qualified to develop the vast potential of the Company’s flagship Abaira project.


Guy Saxton

Chief Executive Officer

Rob Davies

Chief Technical Officer 

  • Rob is a Chartered Resource Geologist and CP/QP as defined by JORC and NI43-101.  Rob is a technical manager with 16 years’ experience working globally across all phases of mining projects including (greenfield prospect through to site closure). Experienced in the technical development and optimization of mining projects, as well as public disclosure and communications to shareholders, investors and other stakeholders.​

  • Former Senior Resource Geologist for International consulting company, Tetra Tech Inc and Geological Manager SLR Consulting Limited.​

Elias Antunes


Senior Executive with Vale (CVRD) spanning over 40 years, including participation in opening Vale’s first office in Asia with Dr Eliezer Batista and all of its major expansion projects in iron ore, bauxite, alumina and aluminium.

Commenced career with USIMINAS, later moving to the Brazilian Embassy in Tokyo, Japan.

Founding President of Rio Doce Asia Kabushiki Kaisha – RSASIA in Tokyo, CVRD’s (Vale) commercial arm for ASIA accounting for 80% of Vale’s worldwide sales.​


Gordon Toll​


  • Former Chairman of Fortescue Metals Group and Chairman/Founder of Ferrous Resources

  • Senior Executive with BHP and Rio Tinto with a career spanning over 40 years in the mining industry

  • Since 2007 has raised over $5 billion USD for major mining projects with a track record of major project implementation and development


Aksel Azrac


  • Co-founder and senior partner of 1875 Finance SA

  • Made his first marks as consultant for various major automobile manufacturers and their brand divisions

  • Co-managed the Parvest Switzerland investment fund and then took up again the position of portfolio advisor for Banque Paribas (Suisse)

  • Worked for Ferrier Lullin & Cie, Geneva, where he had specific management responsibility for Swiss and foreign private client portfolios


Geoff Marshall

Operations Manager

Operations Manager for Brazil Iron Limited and Director of Boxlock Engineering.

Experienced Project Engineer with a demonstrated history of working on and managing successful projects in the minerals processing, mining & metals industries.

Strong professional and skilled in Project Management, Process Plant Design, Contract Management, EPC, Mechanical Engineering, and Commissioning.

Previous roles include Site Project Manager for Consolidated Nickel Mines (CNM), Zambia and consulting to numerous mining companies across the globe as Project Engineer for GBM and Tetra Tech Mining and Minerals.
