Our goal is to sustainably develop Bahia's iron ore resources as Brazil's new green cradle of iron and steel, using 100% renewable energy and green hydrogen.

We intend to operate with zero carbon emissions and deliver net positive results for the environment and our communities. Environmental Responsibility

We understand the local impact that mining activities can have on the environment.

We are committed to not only mitigating these impacts but also compensating to provide a net positive environmental impact. This will be achieved through efficient water management, biodiversity action plans, and net-zero greenhouse gas emissions. We intend to use our residual materials to progressively restore landscapes and then plant them with native species to create habitats with high biodiversity value.

These areas can then be preserved as healthy and sustainable nature reserves for future generations.

For the global environment, we aim to tackle climate change by revolutionizing the steel industry. The industry traditionally emits large amounts of CO2 into the atmosphere (contributing 7% of global greenhouse gas emissions). We intend to transform the industry by producing the metal the world needs with net-zero carbon emissions, through the use of 100% renewable energy and green hydrogen.

We will also produce very high specification direct reduction iron, which minimizes our Scope 3 emissions (i.e., meaning we are improving emissions from our downstream customers' operations).
